How it works

  1. For your role, we take the skills its job postings ask for most, and how many postings ask for each.
  2. We read your resume for those skills with the same skill engine Seeker uses for job matches.
  3. You see the share you have, and the missing ones ranked by how many postings ask for them.

Have one job in mind? The resume vs job description checker scores your resume against that posting. Read what an ATS score is for how employer screening works.

Questions

How is the resume score calculated?
For each role we count which skills its job postings ask for most often, across the postings in Seeker's job corpus. We read your resume for those skills with the same skill engine Seeker uses to match people to jobs. Your score is the share of the role's most-requested skills found on your resume.
Is this my ATS score?
No. Every employer's applicant tracking system scores resumes its own way, and you never see that number. This score does not predict callbacks either. It tells you how your resume lines up with what postings for your role ask for in general. To check one specific job, use the resume vs job description checker.
What is a good resume score?
There is no cutoff. A missing skill that appears in most postings matters more than one that appears in a few. If you have a skill we did not find, name it on your resume the way postings word it.
Is it free, and is my resume saved?
It is free with no login. Your resume is read for this score only and is not saved by it.
