We do not sell resume data or personal information.
Seeker is a career intelligence platform operated by Danylchuk Studios LLC. It provides decision-support intelligence, designed to improve career targeting, not predict hiring outcomes. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
What We Do Not Collect
- No resume text in analytics. Resume content is never sent to third-party analytics providers.
- No selling data. We do not sell, broker, or trade personal information or resume data.
- No AI training on your resume. We do not train generalized AI models on your resume data.
- Autocapture is off. Analytics events are explicitly declared. We do not silently record clicks or keystrokes.
- Session replay is off by default. If enabled, it is gated behind an environment flag and disabled entirely on administrative routes.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Resumes: PDF files you upload for analysis. Resume content is processed to generate career intelligence and is not shared with third parties.
- Market targeting preferences: Target markets and remote work preferences you select during upload. Used to calibrate analysis against relevant labor markets.
- Skill and domain verifications: When you use the verification flow, you may confirm or correct extracted skills, domains, industries, and location data. This data refines your analysis and is forwarded to our processing infrastructure.
- Accuracy ratings: Optional 1–5 ratings you submit to indicate how well results matched your expectations.
- Match feedback: Thumbs up/down signals on individual role matches, used to improve matching quality.
- General feedback: Bug reports, feature requests, accuracy reports, and written comments you voluntarily submit through the feedback form.
- Email: Only if you voluntarily provide it in a feedback form. We do not require account creation.
Automatically Collected
- Device metadata (browser type, operating system, viewport dimensions)
- Usage analytics (pages visited, features used, time on page)
- Interaction signals (feedback submissions, scroll depth, session duration)
- Telemetry metadata attached to feedback submissions (page URL, viewport size, user agent, timestamp)
- IP address: used for rate limiting and abuse prevention. Not stored long-term or associated with resume content.
Automatically collected data is used for product improvement, abuse prevention, and system reliability. It does not include resume content or personally identifying information beyond what is listed above.
We do not sell personal data. Ever.
Cookies and Local Storage
Seeker uses a minimal set of cookies and browser storage. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
- Session cookies: Used for administrative authentication only. Not set for regular users.
- Analytics cookies: Set by PostHog for anonymous usage analytics. No resume data is included.
- Local storage: Used to remember your feedback state, rating submissions, and cached analysis results within your browser session. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings.
How We Use Data
We use the information we collect to:
- Generate career intelligence and positioning analysis
- Improve signal extraction and matching accuracy
- Prevent abuse and enforce rate limits
- Maintain system reliability and detect issues
- Understand aggregate usage patterns to improve the product
We do not use your data for advertising, lead generation, or third-party marketing.
AI and Automated Processing
Your resume is processed by automated systems to extract structured career data, compare against live job market listings, and generate positioning analysis. This processing is core to the service and occurs every time you upload a resume.
A cryptographic hash of your file is computed in your browser for deduplication purposes. This hash cannot be used to reconstruct your resume.
We do not train generalized AI models on your resume data.
Automated outputs are analytical estimates, decision-support intelligence, not deterministic predictions. They do not constitute decisions about your employment, creditworthiness, or eligibility for any program or service.
Data Retention
Raw resume files are automatically deleted after processing. Structured career metadata derived from your resume may be retained to support analysis delivery and accuracy calibration.
Pipeline data used to generate your results is retained for a limited period. Feedback and verification data is retained to improve system accuracy.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
Security
We implement industry-standard safeguards to protect your data, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS everywhere)
- Controlled access to production systems
- Server-side processing: your resume never touches the browser after upload
- No secrets or API keys exposed to client bundles
- Rate limiting on upload and feedback endpoints

Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your data
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Withdraw from analytics collection by disabling JavaScript or using browser privacy tools

California Residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have additional rights regarding their personal information, including the right to know what data is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information.
We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights under CCPA, contact founder@danylchukstudios.dev.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- PostHog: product analytics. Processes usage data on our behalf. Does not receive resume content. Autocapture is disabled.
- Vercel: hosting and deployment infrastructure for the frontend application.
- Fly.io: backend processing infrastructure for career intelligence pipeline.
These services process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies. They are processors, not owners, of your data. Resume content is only processed by our own infrastructure on Fly.io and is not shared with Vercel or PostHog.
Children
This platform is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we become aware that data has been collected from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
