Financial/Budget Analyst

Position Title: Finance/BudgetAnalyst

Location: Tysons, VA – Onsite

Assignment Type: Permanent Hire

Compensation: $95,000–$120,000 base salary

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Analyze monthly budget-to-actual performance and explain key fluctuations
• Perform month-end close activities related to corporate costs, accruals, prepaids, and internal allocations
• Prepare and review complex general ledger reconciliations
• Support corporate allocations and intercompany eliminations
• Prepare adjusting journal entries as needed
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation
• Support annual financial statement audits and corporate tax preparation
• Partner with internal technology teams to automate transactions, reporting, and reconciliations
• Support indirect procurement initiatives, including RFPs and company-wide vendor programs
• Administer corporate budgeting and procurement controls
• Analyze financial data and communicate key findings to finance and operational leadership
• Support strategic finance initiatives involving capital budgeting, incentive compensation, and reporting enhancements
• Work closely with the Chief Accounting Officer, CFO, and other senior leaders on finance-related initiatives
• Coordinate across Finance, Operating Divisions, corporate departments, vendors, and service providers
• Support process simplification and automation across financial reporting and corporate accounting activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 5+ years of corporate budgeting, financial reporting, accounting, or related finance experience
