 Job Details Part Time 24 hours weekly. To assist in the operation and related functions of fluoroscopic and digital equipment in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Circulates and monitors during Cardiac Catheterization procedures. Job Description Summary To assist in the operation and related functions of fluoroscopic and digital equipment in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

Circulates and monitors during Cardiac Catheterization procedures. Job Duties Assists in preparing the laboratory prior to and during the procedure. Includes assisting the Cardiologist and/or nurse during the procedure by circulating in the lab and providing them with catheters, instruments, or special items when needed during the procedure Maintains the sterility of the field and lab. Consistently produces high quality images while ensuring these images are properly transferred to the archive server Interacts with co-workers. visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of Jefferson Health Minimum Qualifications Specialized Diploma from an accredited school of cardiovascular science or Specialized Diploma from an accredited school of radiation technology with cardiovascular experience.

Decisive decision making in critical situations. Exhibits critical-thinking. Knowledge of current medical practice as it relates to diagnostic and interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, peripheral, and structural heart procedures. Initiates, accepts, and adapts to change. ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - American Heart Association BLS - Basic Life Support AHA - American Heart Association RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or RT - Registered Technologist Radiology - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International Within 180 Days Preferred Qualifications Associate’s Degree from an accredited school of cardiovascular science or Associate’s Degree from an accredited school of radiation technology 2 years of experience with invasive cardiology or interventional radiology.

Additional Qualifications Physical Demands Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking. Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift. *Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
